1. my FREEDOM

I'm mainly worried about the 1st. when I move back, I have to constantly tell my mom where I'm at and when I'm coming back home and I no longer can leave when I please, go where I please, and all that good stuff. Hopefully, I'll have a car by then though so I can transport myself around but I think I'm really going to miss it here at UCI. You're only an undergrad once. I gotta make the most of it before I graduate.

After reading a lot of my friend's "25 random facts" posts on Facebook, I just got me thinking. So I guess I'll hop onto the bandwagon and post something similar, minus the Facebook.

25 Random's you may or may not know about me:

1. My favorite food is sushi, and I'm kinda sick of constantly eating chinese food for every family event.

2. My friends are like family to me.

3. I'm constantly scared of what the future holds for me and it seriously creeps me out every time I think about it. I want to not think about it, but I know it's inevitable.

4. I've made 1 best friend in college. She is the greatest and most awesome person I've met during my college career. 

5. I am scared of taking risks. I like to compare it to having 10 lives in a video game and worrying about not being able to jump over a ditch and losing a life. It's that 1 life that I'm afraid of losing and it makes me anxious. Maybe that's the reason why I haven't found myself a job or internship yet.

6. I am afraid of being a failure, a disappointment, and being boring.

7. I love to drink tea. Especially without sugar. I never put sugar in my tea unless it's really horrible tea and really needs sugar. I'm always up to trying new types of tea :D Can't say the same about coffee though.

8. I had a pet turtle a really long time ago. One day I came back from school and saw that he wasn't in his tank. I find out later that he ran away. Yes, even turtles run away. A month later, my mom finds his empty shell in our back yard.

9. My family speaks chinese (canto), portuguese, and spanish. I understand canto and a bit of portuguese but not spanish. I was about to take spanish during high school but dropped out after 2 weeks and took 3 years of japanese instead.

10. My family is also from Africa. lol. Reason why they speak portuguese :)

11. I was born in Queen's, NY and moved to CA when I was 2.5 years of age.

12. I'm not a big fan of my dad.

13. My hair is a virgin. I've never dyed it.

14. I went to a private, Christian school for 9 years of my life. I had religion shoved down my throat for those 9 years and I have to admit that I was about to convert to Christianity during that time. When I graduated though, I was so relieved to finally go to a public high school and not have to take anymore bible study classes. Those were annoying. I even got a D in one of them because I refused to study.

15. I really want a mini cooper.

16. I'm a pretty shy person, but I force myself to socialize because I like to meet new people.

17. I hate being alone and the feeling of loneliness.

18. I will never quit playing video games as long as there are great games to play.
18b. I am a huge geeknerd.

20. I am extremely whitewashed. I learned how to use chopsticks properly in high school from my friend Rachel. My mom and I own 3 chopsticks and wooden ones from sushi boy. hahaha. Ironicly, I used to be the exact opposite.

21. "You're like, 'Panda Express-Mexican'" - Jose (referring to my white-washed-ness. lol)

22. I used to be really excited about England before I went there for travel study. After experiencing the place and culture, I have to admit that I think I might have over-hyped it and maybe I should have went to Japan instead. lol I still think it's a great place though.

23. I don't want to go to grad school because I'm afraid that I may not have the chops for it. I think I may need to go now though due to the economy.

24. I really don't like my major. I should have stuck through with engineering or computer science or even studio art. I really don't know what the fuck I'm gonna do after I graduate. Why does my tassle have to be pink??? That's also another sign I'm in the wrong major. lol.

25. I don't like to publicize parts of my private life over the internet but this I have to mention:
      Allen is wonderful. If there someone asked me to summarize him in 1 word (or less. haha!) I would have to say "wonderful". or awesome. awesome is an awesome adjective too. I'm glad that I got rejected by this dude that I thought I liked but I ended up realizing afterwards that I didn't really like him. That brought me to Allen.
